Digital Family Memories Archive

It’s times like these we need family in our lives more than ever. During these past months, my family has helped me in more ways than I can count. I’m so thankful for them.

One task that I never got around to doing as a kid was to digitally archive our old family films. Having "boomeranged" home this summer and being on the “work for food program,” I had no excuses this time to not do it. I’m glad I didn’t.

It was very touching to see faces and hear voices long gone, but more importantly it was great to watch so many people caring for me and my brothers.

Here is a short film of our family‘s early years. This is dedicated to all of our caregivers. Together we’ll get through these times.

Film was edited on Adobe Premiere, and Hi8 tapes were digitized using VIDBOX Video Conversion Suite.
